Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust aspires to be a leader in the digital health revolution. With the launch of a full Electronic Patient Record in 2017 the Trust aims to be the safest, most efficient and patient centred Trust in the NHS. The launch is part of a 10-15 year ongoing project of modernisation with future opportunities for research, development in this rapidly developing field of medicine. Through working at CHFT you can be part of this innovative area aiming to bring safer and more effective care to our patients.

We have an exciting opportunity for internal speech and language therapists to apply for band 6 positions within the children's therapy department. It is envisaged that the successful post holders will be situated with the Halifax team, however, there may be a requirement to work on either site should need arise.

You will provide assessment, treatment and advice for children with a range of speech, language and communication needs, working in a variety of settings including clinics, schools and nurseries. You will contribute to delivery of the service, supporting and leading on new models of practice, working in partnership with parents, settings and schools.

We can offer strong leadership, clinical and peer supervision, positive teams, short waiting times and opportunities to work with a broad range of communication difficulties.
