We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children’s Therapy department. Our well-established, friendly community team consists of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, physiotherapists and therapy assistants. We have team bases in both Halifax and Huddersfield, the post holder will work from the Halifax base.
You will provide therapy assessment, treatment and advice, working in a variety of settings to include clinics, schools and nurseries with children of all ages. We have excellent links with schools, early years settings and Social Care and you will become part of the wider team supporting children and their families.
The successful applicant should be looking to further develop their clinical skills working with children with speech, language and communication difficulties. You will have good communication and team working skills. You will need to be able to work independently and have an ability to effectively prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
You will receive strong leadership, clinical supervision and regular peer support. We value commitment to professional development and training for all our staff.
