An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualilfied and experienced Registered Professional, NMC, HCPC (Adult Mental Health or Learning Disabilities) to work as a Safeguarding Practitioner within the Integrated Adults and Childrens Safeguarding Team. The role will work closely with all professional groups within the Trust to provide specialist advice, support, supervision and training in adult safeguarding.
This postholder will work under the direction of the Named Professional for Safeguarding Adults.
We require an individual with a passion and commitment for safeguarding adults who is able to work as part of a team. The succesful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative, innovation and emotional resilience given the nature of the role and be able to work independantly and as part of a team.
Key Activiities Include:
Being and enthusiastic and passionate role model
Expert knowledge of statutory guidance and legislation in relation to adult safeguarding
Supporting the Named Professional to delivering key statutory responsibilities in relation to Prevent, Adult Safeguarding, MCA DoLS, Domestic Abuse.
Work collaboratively and in partnership with other partner agencies and attend internal and external meetings
Deliver the Trusts Safeguarding Adults training and faciliation of Safeguarding Supervision.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
