Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust aspires to be a leader in the digital health revolution. With the launch of a full Electronic Patient Record in 2017 the Trust aims to be the safest, most efficient and patient centred Trust in the NHS. The launch is part of a 10-15 year ongoing project of modernisation with future opportunities for research, development in this rapidly developing field of medicine. Through working at CHFT you can be part of this innovative area aiming to bring safer and more effective care to our patients.
Are you a midwife with a strong focus on compassionate and personalised care, whatever the setting and care pathway? Do you challenge yourself to always put the patient first, breaking down traditional barriers?
If you want to join a like-minded team of committed, friendly midwives we are currently recruiting Band 5 and Band 6 midwives on the Bank for hospital, birth centres, community.
Our team are proud of our outcomes and we have worked together to successfully reduce rates of stillbirth and OASI. In April, we join the national Maternal and Neonatal Safety Collaborative as a wave two Trust and are looking forward to learning from other Trusts about their improvement journeys.
We are research active and are working in partnership with the University of York to explore women’s decision making in labour. We are a first wave study site for the RCOG OASI Care Bundle Trial.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
