Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner (APNP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner Paediatrics (ACP Paediatrics)

Band 8a

Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners for children and young people are instrumental to the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate and high quality care within our Emergency Departments, Paediatric Assessment Unit and Inpatient wards one of which includes a High Dependency Unit. Our Children’s service covers Huddersfield and Halifax district with the two hospitals been 5 miles apart.

We see the advanced role as pivotal to transforming services and ensuring safe and effective pathways of care for children and young people.

Are you interested in joining our friendly and proactive Childrens team to support the delivery and development of our Children’s services? Do you have evidence of recent skills and competencies within secondary care and a master’s level qualification?

You will need to be self-motivated with a desire to improve patient care through application of advanced clinical skills and knowledge, as well as leadership, education and research skills.

In return you will be rewarded by a working experience rich in multi-disciplinary team who have exemplary child and family feedback. You will have access to work based clinical Consultant support and supervision and a supportive team of advanced practitioners.
